Solar panel maintenance

Once solar is on the roof, most homeowners have no routine way of knowing whether birds have moved in, gutters are blocking behind the array, or the glass is heavily soiled.

PVDEFEND provides visual system checks for obvious issues, general advice on getting the most from an existing solar system, and ongoing practical maintenance support. We do not pretend to offer electrical repairs or specialist electrical testing unless that work is separately confirmed.

What a visual health check looks for

• Obvious bird access, nesting material or fouling
• Debris at the panel edge and in nearby gutters where visible
• Whether protection is already fitted, and whether it still looks complete

For electrical faults, inverter errors or isolation work you will need a qualified electrician. We will not pretend otherwise. If you also need panel cleaning or bird proofing, we can cover that on the same visit where it is safe to do so.
